A day with an overwhelming financial difficulty, a "nasty " note from a person I have tried to help for years yet they still can't recognize it, an attitude of jealousy and territorialism from a peer that just won 't go away, and an overindulgent and unhealthy coping mechanism. Retiring troubled, perplexed, persecuted, and cast down.
Waking the next morning with a memory of dreaming about my son who is in heaven; whole, happy, loving, as God created him. The one dream that the Lord knew would catapult me out of any despair. Reading scripture and applying it to present problems that only the Lord knows about. Yoga with a caring friend remembering that God is healing my body slowly but surely from years of neglect. Lunch and conversation with a beloved sister in Christ, sharing our hopes and dreams. A one and a half hour message I had forgotten about again recognizing the healing taking place due to nothing but God's grace. A conversation with my significant other about how the Lord never fails to meet me at my point of need. How can we and why would we want to face the "world" and everything the enemy throws at us without Him?
